04 — Icons
The icons are the board patterns: states of the five-by-five board every sequence on the site runs, in the zeroes and ones the landing sets its boards in, or in dots. They are the marks in the corner of the pillar cards and the ones the executive deck was built with. Each comes as SVG and PNG in four finishes — ink on paper, white on ink, and the flux cut over either ground’s resting grid — and the whole set as one zip.

PNGs are 1024px square with a transparent ground, drawn in the page’s own Geist Mono. SVGs are 320px with the same 64-unit box; the digit SVGs name Geist Mono and fall back to the system mono where it is not installed. The tiles show the form and finish the chips set; the menus offer every finish in that form.
05 — The dome
The palace sequence the landing runs, as an instrument. The board is 240 × 119 and every standing cell is a digit; a share of them is lifted at any moment and turns over continuously, so the picture is always legible and always reassembling. Drop a picture in and it is sampled onto the same grid and becomes the next shot — carried there by the turnover rather than by a cut. The export writes the result as a zipped PNG sequence with alpha, which is the format After Effects imports as a single footage item.

A shot stands for its hold, then the turnover carries the board into the next: cells coming back from the lifted set come back as the new picture has them. One shot alone plays the way the landing does.
